Most of your body is made up of water so by failing to refill (hydrate), you'll suffer from the side effects of dehydration, which is very harmful to your overall health.
Skin. Hydrated skin is happy skin and tends to have less breakouts and have a better healthy color.
Releasing toxins is possible when you're hydrated. Toxins stored in fat cells are safe to detox from your body when your body is hydrated. Also, water helps speed up the metabolism so just by drinking water, you're burning more calories over the course of your day.
Water helps move nutrients throughout your body to the parts that need them. Your blood pressure typically will not increase when you're hydrated. You also won't have to worry about constipation. Water (along with a healthy plant-based diet) keeps everything moving properly.
Tips:
Start you day with room temp lemon water to activate your metabolism and digestive system.
Throughout the day, continue to drink water. Drink enough to stay hydrated, especially during physically activity.
Wait at least 30 minutes after drinking water to eat food. Don't want to dilute all those nutrients from your #plantbased meals!
Start drinking as soon as you wake up... drink 1 liter (roughly 32 oz) of water upon rising and you'll find yourself to be more successful in reaching your water intake goal for the day.
